Terms of service
Effective date: October 31, 2026
These terms apply when you use the GreenTunnel VPN apps (iPhone, iPad, Android, macOS, Windows, Linux and the Chrome extension) and this website. GreenTunnel VPN is made by CellHubs, the trading name of Vo Anh Kiet, a sole proprietor in Vietnam (“we”). Contact: cellhubsapp@gmail.com. By installing or using GreenTunnel, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What GreenTunnel does, and what it does not
GreenTunnel is a local VPN. It runs on your device: it reshapes the first packets of a connection so filters that read site names cannot block it, sends DNS over encrypted DoH or DoT, and can block domains on your lists. We run no VPN servers, and your traffic goes straight from your device to the websites you visit.
GreenTunnel does not hide your IP address and is not an anonymity tool. Websites and your network can still see your address. It cannot open every blocked site: a network can block an IP address, change how it filters at any time, or block in ways no local app can get around.
Your responsibilities
- Follow the laws and rules that apply where you live and on the networks you use. Rules about network use differ from place to place, and you are responsible for how you use GreenTunnel.
- Do not use GreenTunnel to harm others, attack or overload networks or services, spread malware, or commit fraud or any other illegal act.
- If you add your own proxy or WireGuard server (Smart Routing), you are responsible for that server and for having the right to use it. We do not run it and cannot see its traffic.
Your license to use the app
GreenTunnel is proprietary software. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. You may not sell, rent or redistribute the app, remove its notices, or copy, decompile or reverse engineer it, except where the law allows this anyway.
Account
Signing in is optional, and every free feature works without an account. If you create one, keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the delete account page.
Premium and payments
- Premium is an optional purchase. Prices, periods and any free trial are shown in the app or on our pricing page before you buy. Premium belongs to your account, so it works on every device where you sign in with that account.
- In the iPhone, iPad, Mac App Store and Android apps, purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, and their terms apply as well. For apps from the App Store, Apple’s standard license agreement (EULA) applies to the app.
- On this website, which the Windows and Linux apps use for purchases, our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our website orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to these orders.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them. For store purchases, cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. For website purchases, cancel with the link in Paddle’s receipt email or with Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds for store purchases follow the policy of the store you paid through; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves. For website purchases, you can ask Paddle for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase or renewal, through the link in your receipt email or at paddle.net. Our refund policy has the details.
Ads
The free Android app may show ads from Google AdMob. Premium removes them. The iPhone, iPad and Mac apps have no ads. The privacy policy explains what data ads use.
Privacy
We never collect what you browse. The privacy policy describes the small amount of data the apps do handle and why. It is part of these terms.
Services of other companies
Encrypted DNS goes to the provider you choose (Cloudflare, Google or Quad9), and the websites you visit receive your connections as usual. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to what they receive. We are not responsible for content or services provided by others.
Changes to the app and to these terms
We may update GreenTunnel, add or remove features, or stop offering it on a platform. We may also change these terms. When we do, we update the effective date above, and for important changes we tell you in the app or on this website. If you keep using GreenTunnel after a change, the new terms apply.
No warranty
GreenTunnel is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not promise that it will open any particular site, work on every network, or run without interruptions or errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, CellHubs is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, that come from using or not being able to use GreenTunnel. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for GreenTunnel in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer laws that cannot be waived.
Ending these terms
You can stop using GreenTunnel at any time by uninstalling it. If you break these terms, we may end your license to use it. The sections on liability and warranty still apply after that.
