Delete your GreenTunnel account

An account is optional in GreenTunnel VPN. If you created one, you can delete it at any time. All free features keep working without an account.

Delete in the app

  1. Open GreenTunnel VPN and go to Settings.
  2. Open Account & Premium.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If the app asks you to sign in again, do so and tap Delete account once more. This is a security check.

Delete without the app

Send an email to cellhubsapp@gmail.com from the email address of your account, with the subject Delete my GreenTunnel account. We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete anything.

If you used Sign in with Apple and hid your email, write from any address and include the relay address shown in your Apple ID settings.

What is deleted

  • Your Firebase account: email address, user ID, sign-in provider and any name or photo link stored with it.
  • The link between your account and our analytics and crash reports. We also ask Google Analytics to delete the data stored under your user ID.

What is kept

  • Purchase records. Apple, Google and RevenueCat keep transaction records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. We cannot delete these records.
  • Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play.
  • Data on your device. Settings and the Requester log stay until you clear them or uninstall the app. They were never sent to us.
  • Data not linked to you. Usage events and crash reports under a random app ID expire automatically: crash reports after 90 days, analytics events within 14 months.

How long it takes

Deleting in the app removes your account right away. Requests by email are completed within 30 days, and we reply to confirm.
